Moodle

We have "Moodle Course Creator" qualifications for the Moodle virtual learning environment.

Linux

The Linux operating system provides a very stable and versatile base to most of our products.

Apache / PHP

The web interfaces for our products are based on the proven Apache web server, used by the majority of public web servers on the Internet and built in the ubiquitous PHP web programming language.

PostgreSQL

A robust database management system, an underlying part of many of our solutions.

PostGIS

The OpenPisteMap online ski piste map service, run by Opendium, runs on common open source GIS infrastructure, such as the PostGIS spatial database system for PostgreSQL.

MySQL

A common requirement of many server applications.

OpenLDAP

The Iceni Server products utilise OpenLDAP for storing users, user preferences, organisational groups, etc.

Exim

A highly flexible email transfer agent used on many of our products.

Squid

The Iceni Server products provide filtering web proxy services.  For this we use the industry standard and proven Squid proxy server coupled with our tailor made filtering ICAP server.

Callweaver and Asterisk

Callweaver, and the Asterisk project from which it originated, provide voice over IP telephoney services, such as call routing, interactive voice response applications, voicemail and conference calling.  We use Callweaver extensively within our own organisation to provide a unified telephone network across remote offices.

Horde

The Horde framework is used within our Iceni Server products to provide services to the end users, such as email and calendaring.

Drupal

The Drupal content management system allows us to produce custom, well structured websites that fulfil the customer's needs whilst still being easily managed.
