Note that this will also disable HTTPS interception for the Twitter website with a corresponding reduction in filtering and auditing capabilities. It is therefore recommended that the override is only enabled on wifi networks and that proper consideration is given to the risks.
The Twitter app does not utilise the device's trusted certificate store and therefore HTTPS interception must be disabled for certain traffic. It is not possible to disable HTTPS interception for the Twitter app without also disabling it for the Twitter website. Disabling HTTPS interception significantly reduces filtering and auditing capabilities.
